If you cancel less than 24 hours before departure, or don&#8217;t show up, there is no refund. The change depends on availability for the new day and time. Less than 24 hours before departure, the tour can no longer be rescheduled.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"weather\">\n<h2>What happens if weather or the Port Authority prevents departure?<\/h2>\n<p>In that case, we cancel. The tour does not depart if the forecast or the authorities indicate it is unsafe to sail, if there is dangerous swell, or if the <strong>Port Authority (Capitan\u00eda de Puerto) closes the port<\/strong>. The same applies to any other force majeure event.<\/p>\n<p>We let you know as far in advance as possible, and you choose one of these options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reschedule at no cost<\/strong>, subject to availability.<\/li>\n<li><strong>100% refund<\/strong> of the amount paid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"hidden-beach\">\n<h2>What happens if the swell prevents entry to Hidden Beach?<\/h2>\n<p>Hidden Beach (also known as Lovers Beach or Playa del Amor) can only be reached by swimming 80&nbsp;m (262&nbsp;ft) through a rock tunnel, and whether you can get in depends on the swell at that moment. If the tour departs normally but, once at the Marietas Islands, the swell makes entry unsafe:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The rest of the tour goes ahead.<\/li>\n<li>We refund <strong>$100 USD per person<\/strong> who paid for beach access and could not enter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This rule applies to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.puntamitaexperience.com\/en\/hidden-beach-tour\/\">shared Hidden Beach tour<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.puntamitaexperience.com\/en\/private-lovers-beach-tour\/\">private Lovers Beach tour<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.puntamitaexperience.com\/en\/private-marietas-islands-tour\/\">private Marietas Islands tour<\/a>, only for passengers who booked with Hidden Beach access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"tide\">\n<h2>What happens if the tide changes the departure time?<\/h2>\n<p>This is not a cancellation: the tour still takes place, and only the departure time changes. If the tide requires an adjustment, we send you the new time by WhatsApp or email, using the contact details in your booking.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"request\">\n<h2>How do I request a cancellation or a date change?<\/h2>\n<p>Contact us through either of these channels with the <strong>booking holder&#8217;s name<\/strong> and the <strong>tour date<\/strong>.
