Departure and Welcome Aboard
Your captain and expert local guide will give a warm welcome exclusively to your group. Your private boat will be dedicated entirely to you (1-13 people), creating an intimate and personalized atmosphere. You will receive a safety briefing, get fitted with life jackets, and prepare for an unforgettable experience as you sail towards the islands at your own pace.

Scenic Tour of the Marietas Islands
We begin by circumnavigating the islands in your private boat to admire the impressive rock formations carved by time and nature. During the ride, your group will enjoy the unique landscapes of the bay while your dedicated guide helps you spot marine life and tropical birds, especially the charismatic blue-footed booby.

The Great Adventure: Exclusive Access to Hidden Beach
The most thrilling moment of the tour arrives. To access the Hidden Beach, you will embark on a mini-adventure, swimming approximately 80 meters (260 ft) with a life jacket through a natural cave. Your private guide will be with you at all times.
Once you cross the cave, your group will find yourselves on an extraordinary beach located inside a crater, where you can gaze up at a natural dome open to the sky. You will have 30 minutes to enjoy it in privacy, take photos, and absorb the beauty of this special place.

Return to the Marina
Navigation back to the Punta de Mita Marina in your private boat. An ideal moment to review the photos captured, chat about the expedition with our crew, and enjoy the panoramic view of the Riviera Nayarit coastline.

How long is the tour and can I choose my time?
The tour lasts 3 hours in total. Because it is a private tour, you can choose the time that best fits your day among the available options (from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday to Sunday). We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your selected time for check-in and the safety briefing.
How does the private tour pricing work?
The base price is $574 USD and covers 1 to 2 people with a private boat and guide exclusive to your group. The final price varies according to the number of people (capacity up to 13). When you select the number of people on the booking calendar, the total price is calculated automatically.
What exactly is included in the price?
The price includes all the essentials: a private boat exclusively for your group, an experienced captain and an expert local guide dedicated solely to you, life jackets, snorkeling equipment (mask and tube), access bracelets to the National Park and Hidden Beach, beverages on board (water and sodas), and the complete itinerary experience with a flexible schedule.
What is NOT included?
It does not include: transportation from your hotel to the marina, towels, tips for the crew (100% optional), alcoholic beverages, or any additional services not specified. We recommend bringing cash for: using the restrooms at the marina ($10 MXN per person), tips if you wish to leave them, and a waterproof phone case (optional, sold at the marina).
What is the minimum age and are there health restrictions?
The minimum age is 10 years old due to the swimming required in the cave. This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, or individuals with heart problems or limited mobility. If you have any specific medical condition, please consult with us before booking.
Do I need to be a very good swimmer?
You need to feel comfortable in the water to cover approximately 80 meters in the cave. You will wear a mandatory life jacket at all times and will be accompanied by your dedicated expert guide. If you don’t know how to swim, your private guide can personally assist you with the access. You do not need to be a professional swimmer.
Is it really private? Will we share the boat?
Yes, it is 100% private. The boat and guide are dedicated exclusively to your group (from 1 to 13 people that you invite). You will not share the boat with other tourists. This is the main difference from our shared tour and allows you to enjoy the experience at your own pace.
Can I use fins for snorkeling?
No, the use of fins is not allowed in the Marietas Islands. This is an official regulation from CONANP (National Commission of Protected Natural Areas) to protect the delicate reefs and marine ecosystems of the national park.
How much time do I have at Hidden Beach?
You will have 30 minutes inside Hidden Beach. This time is regulated by the park rangers to guarantee the conservation of the site and to allow all visitors of the day to enjoy this special place. With your private tour, you will enjoy these minutes in greater privacy.
What should I bring with me?
Biodegradable sunscreen, a towel, swimwear already on, comfortable clothes for the return trip, a waterproof camera (optional), cash for using the restrooms, and tips if you wish to leave them. Everything else (snorkeling gear, life jacket, beverages, access bracelets) is included.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, you can cancel up to 24 hours before the tour to receive a full refund or to reschedule. We understand that plans can change. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows are non-refundable.
What happens if the tour is canceled due to bad weather?
In the exceptional (very rare) case that we must cancel due to adverse weather conditions, CONANP access closure, or safety reasons, we offer you the option to reschedule your tour for another date at no additional cost or a full refund. Your safety and satisfaction are our priority.
